They do all their deeds to be seen by men; for they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long, and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seat in the synagogues, and salutations in the market places, and being called rabbi by men. Matthew 23:5 – 7
Lord, we all know people like this that NEED to be seen and put on a pedestal. You take a back seat in their lives totally because they are into themselves and what they can get out of life.
Thank You for helping us because we do need Your help to not be like them.
Thank You for showing us that without You we are nothing….all we have is because You have given it to us.
Thank You for Your strength and power to give YOU ALL the glory. We love You Lord and we thank You.
