Thought For Today

(Jesus continues) “You (disciples) are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 4:14 – 16

Thank You Lord for allowing us to shine for You.

Thank You for teaching us that life is not all about ‘us’ …..but it is all about You.

Thank You for allowing us to be Your servants.

As the song goes that I have sung from childhood …. ‘This little light of mine. I’m gonna let it shine.’ Shine ….Yes Lord may it shine brighter and brighter until You come back for us.

Thank You Lord for the gift of being a light for You ….a light that shines brightly in a very dark world.

Thank You Lord.
