So lying thus, close to the breast of Jesus, he said to Him, “Lord, who is it?” (That would betray You) John 13:25

Lord, Simon Peter didn’t know who would betray You. And whoever this was that was lying close to You didn’t know either and had to ask You. Everyone was full of questions wondering who it was that was going to betray You. Who was with You all the time that was going to betray You. They could not figure out who it was.

Lord what is interesting about this story is You saw what Judas was like because You know all things and yet You loved him. You allowed him to continue being with You and Your other disciples.

Thank You Lord for always loving us when You know that we are not always pleasing You.

That is Your gift to us! That shows Your unconditional love. That is Your grace being showered upon us.

How can we ever thank You enough when we stand back and look at this total picture.

Thank You! Thank You Lord.
