Thought For Today

(Jesus continued about the watchful servant)  “Truly I tell you he will set him over all his possessions.”

Luke 13:44

Lord doing the right thing sure isn’t always the popular thing.  I am sure there were those that said to these watchmen – oh come on – our master won’t be here for a long time.  Why are you watching for him.  You know he is a long way off.  Come on and take a nap.  Enjoy yourself while he isn’t here.

Thank You Lord for giving us the desire to follow You and the guts to stand alone.

Thank You for the peace You give in spite of the crowd that jeers.

Thank You for the rewards there are in doing the right thing.

Thank You for showing us the reward the faithful servant received.

Thank You for Your reward of peace and joy that You give us each moment we follow You.

We are so very, very blessed.

Thank You Lord.
