In these (porticoes) lay a multitude of invalids, blind, lame, paralyzed. One man was there, who had been ill for thirty-eight years.
John 5:4, 5

Lord when writing this last night I somehow skipped verse four and went right to verse five. We see another very sad picture in verse four. The picture is even worse than the one painted for us last night. Here were even more people waiting and watching for a miracle. Only one would be fortunate enough to be the first into the turbulent water. All had hope that some way they could be the one that was healed. This is hard to accept Lord and even harder to understand.

Once again Lord I have to thank You for Your healing touch.

We all would hope and pray to be the ‘one’ that was healed.

Thank You for helping each one of us through the difficult times when we wonder how we will ever make it.

We are blessed to hold Your hand and pray for strength and wisdom….praying all the while.

Thank You for ALWAYS being with us.

Thank You Lord.
