Thought For Today

For this reason I too on hearing about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, never fail in giving thanks for you as I mention you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, might grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation for an understanding of Himself.  Ephesian 1:15 – 17

Thank You Lord for those that pray for us and thank You for giving us the privilege of praying for others.  Thank You for giving us so much to be thankful for.  Thank You for those among us that love and serve You.  It is then we pray the prayer that Paul prayed for the saints at Ephesus.  Thank You for what this verse is teaching me Lord.  Thank You for teaching us to pray for others to be granted Your ‘spirit of wisdom and of revelation for an understanding of Yourself.’  Thank You for the peace and joy that is ours as we learn to know You better and better.  We all need that Lord and thank You for being ready to give it to all of us as we ask You.
