Thought For Today

In Thee, O Lord, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame! In Thy righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline Thy ear to me, and save me! Be thou to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress, to save me, for Thou art my rock and my fortress. Psalms 71:1 – 3

Thank You Lord for being our rock and our fortress. Thank You for always being with us …day or night …You are there. Thank You for guiding us through this day. We love You Lord and thank You.

Thank You Lord for being with us each day. There are those days in our lives where we need Your help. This scripture reminds us that You are there to ‘bear us up’ and we thank You. Thank You for Your guidance and direction each step of this journey called life. What a comfort to know You are with us. Thank You for helping us today.

Rain in abundance, O God, Thou didst shed abroad; Thou didst restore Thy heritage as it languished; Thy flock found a dwelling in it; in Thy goodness, O God, Thou didst provide for the needy. Psalms 68:9, 10

Lord we thank You for providing for the needy. There are times in our lives when we are needy. Those times can be very humbling. We always want to be strong and not NEED anyone or anything. It is in those moments when we ‘need’ that You remind us that ‘Your grace is sufficient’ for us. You are there in those moment to comfort and to guide. You are there to help us learn a valuable lesson. Thank You for always providing just what we need when we need it. Oh how we thank You.

Thank You Lord for Your power and Your love. There is nothing too hard for You. Everything is under Your control. You reminds us that You know all and we thank You. Thank You for Your peace. A peace that passes all human understanding. You ARE with us and we thank You.

Lord …Your gift of music is a beautiful way to praise and thank You for Your blessings. Music can change us. There is something about singing or listening to music that helps us rise above. Thank You for the joy music brings.

The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, has blessed us. Psalms 67:6

Lord there are so many things in life we take for granted. We are so dependent up the earth to yield its crops so we can have food. We need water and sunshine to make the crops grow. We need bees to pollinate. We depend upon so much and yet we find it so easy to think ‘they will just come.’ Then we see how quickly a virus can change our lives. It is then we bow and thank You for Your help and protection. Then our eyes are opened to the total picture. Thank You for being with us through it all. Thank You for the many miracle we have seen. Thank You for helping us through the difficult times. You were there all the time.
