Thought For Today

But if anyone keeps looking steadily into God’s law for free men, he will not only remember it but he will do what it says, and God will greatly bless him in everything he does. James 1:25

Lord what a gift and what a blessing to be GREATLY BLESSED by You IN EVERYTHING we do. Thank You for Your written word that changes our lives every time we read it. Thank You for the insights You give us. Thank You for the joy You give us for loving and serving You. Thank You for Your peace today that certainly passes our human understanding….just as You promised. We love You Lord and thank You for Your many blessings today.

Oh to be like You Lord. Full of Your love and faithfulness. Thank You for showing us, when we ask, those things that need to change in our lives. Your spotlight is awesome. It helps us change and become more and more like You. Our changes with Your help, bring peace and joy. Oh how we praise and thank You for Your wisdom and Your guidance.

Lord when doubts fill my mind, when my heart is in turmoil, quiet me and give me renewed hope and cheer. Psalms 94:19

Thank You Lord for always giving us what we need when we need it. The Psalmist of old was no different than we are today. He needed You just as we need You today. We need Your wisdom and knowledge to quiet our spirits and renew our hope and joy. Thank You for providing everything we need. Thank You for the confidence we can have in You. Thank You for Your peace today.

Lord…thank You for Your promises to stand on when nothing in life makes sense. You are there to heal our broken hearts. You are there to bind up our wounds. You are there to help us make it through each day moment by moment. We stand on Your promise today. We accept Your healing. We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love for us.

Thank You Lord for telling us what our lives will be like when we spend all eternity with You. There will be no more tears…no pain … no sorrow …how wonderful it will be. Thank You for this promise and the joy it brings to each of us.

Thank You Lord for Your peace. Thank You for this verse. It is on my bathroom mirror Lord as a reminder when life throws me a curve. I want to dwell upon this verse and Your peace that passes all human understanding. It is Your peace that gets each of us through each day and I thank You. Thank You for Your peace at this very moment Lord.

Thank You Lord for our celebration of Your birth. Christmas is such a special time for us that love You. We are reminded that You gave Your all so we could spend eternity with You. It is a time when we love to give because You gave to us. Thank You for this wonderful season. Thank You for the JOY in Christmas.

“The harvest is so great, and the workers are so few,” He told His disciples. “So pray to the one in charge of the harvesting, and ask Him to recruit more workers for His harvest fields.” Matthew 9:17, 18

Thank You Lord for giving us the love in our hearts and the wisdom from You to live in our ‘harvest field’ for You. Each day with You is an adventure. You have called us. You are always with us showing us the way. Thank You for allowing us to share Your love with all we meet.
