Thought For Today

In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2

Thank You Lord for the comfort in knowing You have a place ready for us in heaven. It is good You have placed within us the desire to keep living because as we read in the Bible what You have prepared for us we often long to go be with You and those that have gone before us. Oh how we thank You for leaving this earth to prepare a beautiful place for us. We love You Lord and thank You.

Thank YOU Lord!

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2

Thank You Lord for giving us these examples to show us how much You love us and are with us no matter what circumstances we are in. This is Your promise to us that love You. Today as we walk through the things in life that we don’t understand we KNOW that You will protect us and help us. Thank You for helping us through this day. We love You Lord and thank You for Your unconditional love.

Yet You, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand. Isaiah 64:8

Lord we thank You that You are the potter and we are the clay. We thank You because You love us and know all about us. You want the very best for our lives. The clay pot You make of us is the very best to bring honor and glory to Your name. Oh yes, at time we wonder what in the world is going on in our lives. So often it is not what WE want but what You know will bring us closer to You and Your plan for our lives. We look to You and trust You and are drawn closer to You each day. Thank You for loving us and making us a beautiful vessel. We love you Lord and thank You for Your peace today.

Oh Lord how we thank and praise You for the peace You provide when we give our concerns over to You. We are so blessed to have a Heavenly Father that loves us. Thank YOU! Today we look to You and give You each of our concerns knowing that You love us and will provide. Thank You for wanting the very best for our lives. Thank You for only being a prayer away. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me. Psalms 16:8

Thank You Lord that over and over we can read in the Bible how much You love and are ALWAYS with us. There is never a time day or night that You are not with us. We can rest in Your love and have that peace the Bible talks about that goes way beyond our own human understanding. A peace that only You can provide. Oh how we thank and praise You!

Thank You Lord for caring for us and taking our worries and stress. Today we live in a world that if full of stress and worries. It is so easy to worry and forget You are there asking us to give our burdens to You. Thank You for this reminder today. Thank You for ‘tenderly caring’ for each one of us that love You. We give You all our worries and stress right now Lord. Thank You for taking them and giving us peace.

Thank You Lord that Your grace is sufficient for us. Thank You that Your power is made perfect in our weakness. That happens to us because You love us unconditionally. Thank You for helping us grow and change into Your likeness. Lord each of us need You today and we thank You for being with us each step of the way.

Thank You Lord for telling us what our future will be like. You promised You would come again to take us with You. We also know that no man knows when that will be so we anxiously await Your coming. Thank You for Your peace that You left behind for us to avail ourselves of. Thank You for only being a prayer away. We love You Lord and thank You for loving us unconditionally.

Lord as we begin 2023 our hearts rejoice that we have a God that never changes. Your love is with us forever. Thank You that we can bring our needs and request to you 24/7 and You help us. We love You Lord and are so excited for another year of blessings.
